Download the GLMP data
The GLMP provides the original source documents together with structured metadata and documentation.
The Browse & Download tool is the main interface for accessing the corpus. Individual programmes can be opened directly, and users can select multiple programmes for download.
Available data
The GLMP release includes:
- 2,313 unique documents
- 2,323 documented programme uses
- 248 municipalities
- 316 political actors
- 14 German federal states
The underlying source documents are provided as plain-text (.txt) files.
Downloading programmes
The Browse & Download tool allows users to:
- filter the corpus by metadata
- open individual source documents
- select individual programmes
- download selected programmes as a ZIP archive
- download the complete corpus
The download function refers to the documents contained in the current GLMP release.
Metadata and documentation
Structured metadata and documentation are provided alongside the source documents. The metadata describe the municipality or geographical scope, political actor, election year, document type, programme scope, and other relevant information.
